Abhishek Sharma's Review On National Institute Of Technology - [NIT], Srinagar

First of all,the NIT is situated in srinagar,the heaven of world and I am a nature loving person that's why I give first hand to this college.As I like math and chemistry very much that's why I choose chemical Engineering and due to good (not best) placement in my college.There are also some summer interns in college on petroleum technology etc and a great Alumini base as the NIT established in 1960.

Course curriculum of all branches of my college is updated last year in 2017 and also improvising day by day.Academics for engineering student is very important and very crucial in placements,as minimum 7 cgpa is required to sit in any placement interview,but those who work hard will get job verg easily.faculties of all branches are well educated and have their PhD from IITS and IISC Bangalore.

There are many company visited to recruit students like vedanta,IOCL,copgemini,Infosys,wipro,maruti Suzuki,samsung,optum,hpcl,powergrid etc and other psus.The placement in non core sectors is exceptional and give a average package of 9.95 lacs per annum,the college also have a very great alumini base and held alumini meet every year.

There is a technical event,techvanza.It is held every year and also different clubs like coding clubs and dancing club etc,there is different festival events like diwali,Eid,holi etc. There are many cultural fest also on this occasions and in,techvanza it is biggest event of the institute and definite time.

The college infrastructure is not that great because of 2014 floods but it is moving out from this on its pace,and improvising the infrastructure,day by day.The hostels are great with a wifi connection with 200 gb speed,with some normal charge,there is a separate building for library and have greater than 60000 books.The college has its central workshop and lab of chemical engineering with all facilities and well educated technicians.

I have mansar hostel,it is a prefabricated hostel and with great insulation.the hostel room is shared by 4 students and average rent is about rs 4000 rs with all Bill's.the hostel is given to them who are not in a circle of 20 km around the campus,rest all can opt for hostels.
