Anonymous's Review On Crescent College Of Pharmaceutical Sciences Payangadi, Kannur

Crescent college is one of the college that is affiliated to Kerala University of Health and Sciences. It is also AICTE and UGC approved college that is so close to my region. I selected this college because I can easily reach to this college by many transportation mode including bus or train. The college is near to Payangadi Railway Station.

B.pharm is a course that is required to become a pharmacist. The duration of the course is 4 years. The course was updated on 2017 as the semester system was implemented. Earlier it was yearly system where there would be annual exams every year. The new semester system seems more difficult and impractical as there is a very less time period with a tight schedule. The duration of one semester is 6 months. There is a total of 8 semesters. There are both theory and practical exams.

Our college doesn't provide any placement to the students who completed the course. This is one of a drawback of our college. They also don't provide with any kind of industrial exposure to the students. Usually, the students who have completed their course have to get a job by their own effort. The graduated students usually find a job in the community pharmacy where the job opportunity as well as salary is very less. Some students also get a job in the hospital pharmacy.

Our college have always conducted programs and events. We have celebrate our festival in a great manner. Onam and Christmas celebration is always held every year in our college. Our college have its own auditorium for conducting these programs and events. Extra curricular activities is given a great importance in our college. Yearly there would be College day and Arts day competition. Also sports is also conducted in our college. Our college doesn't have its own sports ground. There is also many special events that have been conducted by our college by collaborating with other institutions.
