Remarks
I couldn't go to the other universities I got into because of circumstances, and therefore, decided to enroll here.It was also closer to home, which would make travelling easier, and would also be helpful for me in case of an emergency.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is on par with the rest of the universities offering Masters in English, which means it is outdated in a way. No industrial exposure was provided. This is a more marks-oriented university. The faculty teaching in the 3rd semester is good, especially the Dean of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Placement Experience
The placement rates, as far as I've heard, aren't good. However, they are reportedly better for the engineering students.
College Events
The campus life is average, there are events held regularly, but most of them are related to the engineering and science departments. Most of the students actively participate in the events that take place.
Campus Life
The sports facilities are good, with cricket facilities being developed, swimming classes available and the like. The library is somewhat outdated. The wifi works quite well, but it depends on how close your room is to the router.
Hostel Facilities
Two people share a room in most of the hostels. In some, there are individual rooms assigned (generally for PhD students). Those who aren't assigned rooms have to stay in dorms until they are assigned rooms on a dual or triple-sharing basis.
