I wanted to pursue business administration in my state. Among all the universities of Assam Kaziranga University has a good reputation in business related courses.Infrastructure and academics were the factors that made me choose this university.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus of the BBA curriculum of The Kaziranga University is updated but there is lot more to improve. I feel that industry exposure was not enough for the curriculum. The infrastructure and classroom facilities were very good and the faculties were knowledgeable, experienced and understandable. Dr. Siddhartha Bhattacharyya sir is really good and teach all the concepts in a easy way.
Internships Opportunities
I have completed my internship with Life Insurance Corporation of INDIA. The internship was unpaid one and there was reward for selling LIC products. Recruiter of LIC visited KU campus and conducted an interview. Students were selected on the basis of the interview.
Placement Experience
In the academic year 2018-19 total 84 companies visited the campus. Total 374 offers made to the Kaziranga University students. Highest offer made was 9 LPA and average CTC for different courses wasMBA - 4.36 Lpa, B. tech - 3.89 Lpa, Others - 3.73 Lpa. Highest offer made to BBA students was 8 Lpa.I would say placement of kaziranga University is good.
College Events
The campus life in Kaziranga University was a great experience for me. University organize one of the north east's biggest winter fest 'TALENT TANTRA' every year. Along with the kaziranga University students, students from other Universities, colleges also participate in the events. Kaziranga University also organize sports week every year. Moreover seminars, webinars, entrepreneurship development Programme, cultural Programme etc are also organized by KU.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of Assam Kaziranga University is good. University has cricket ground, football groud, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court and other indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available. Gym is available in hostel but it is not up to the mark. Kaziranga University has WiFi enabled campus and WiFi is also available in hostels. The size of the library is decent and well equipped.
