Remarks

Crescent college is one of the Pharmacy college in Kannur that provides all Pharmacy courses like B.pharm, D.Pharm, M.pharm and Pharm.D. I selected this college because this college have a good facility for a pharmacy student. The college have a large library that have many useful books and reference material that is helpful for a pharmacy student.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus for B.pharm course is up to date. There is theoretical and practical exams for each subject. The end semester exams is conducted in the college itself. The minimum percentage required for a subject to pass is 50%. The schedule is tight for us because in a time span of 6 months, there would be about 6 major exams including theory and practical exams.

Placement Experience

Our college have not taken any action to get placement for the students. Companies doesn't come forward to give Job opportunities or placement to freshers. Job opportunities for a B.pharm graduate includes Pharmacist in hospital pharmacy and community pharmacy. Also many graduated students opt for M.pharm for post graduation. Some of them works in industrial pharmacy also.

The college conducts many events and programs. This includes Onam and Christmas celebration. Also our college conducts Arts day, sports day and college day. Each program is hosted by different batches. Almost every one of them participates in these programs.

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
