Remarks

GU is one of the best University of North east. Also I did my graduation from Darrang College, affiliated of GU. So it is easy to take post graduation in a same University. Also the environment, the hostel life is very attractive.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is updated. CBCS mode. The facilities were advanced and teach well. My specialization is modern history and my teacher is very good. Her teaching techniques is very attractive. We have also Value added courses.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6900 per year

Placement Experience

I'm studying a traditional course. So job opportunities is not like that. I have to study separately for job like banking, civil service or others.

College Events

GU varsity week is the biggest cultural event of GU. Also Youth festival is also held here. And small level program is being organised very often. We have 3 halls. BKB, PD hall and AT hall. We have to participate in any activities.

Campus Life

GU is located in a very large area. Well equipped with Sports field indoor stadium. Wifi facilities in hostels, class rooms, libraries. 22 big hostels. Big big academic buildings. The library is the biggest in Assam.

Hostel Facilities

I'm residing in AT7 boys' hall. Well equipped with every facilities. Advanced Wifi and water facilities. Also we've sports facilities. Food is very nice. The mess is runned by students. The relationship between the seniors and juniors are very well. We live there like our 2nd home.

Hostel Fee: INR 3650 per year

I love to explore the novels of great writers so i choose the English literature to complete my bachelor degree . The course enhanced the thinking of mine and upgrade the knowledge of literature . I don't think they need a improvement on teaching . But exam timing isn't fine . 9 AM isn't untolarable we can't reached the college too early

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.
