College:A. It is an NLUB. The location. It is lovely to be there. The room the university as well as my hostel window is breathtaking.C. The professors. D. Lots of opportunitiesCourse: A. Course Curriculum Overview

Course and Academics: My college provides Hons. Degree option too in various subjects such as sociology, hrd, economics, and political science. The syllabus is also very inclusive of the current laws. We also have the liberty to choose topics for our research assignments on our own.Faculties: Thorough with the subject they teach. The make classes very interactive and interesting, and also appreciate doubts and queries.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I have worked under a few advocates in MP high Court and also in Journals such as Centre for legal research, foreign and public policy and Juristopedia.

Placement Experience

The university will have its first batch passing out in 2021 so nothing can be said before then. The university does have a placement and internship committee though which as of now helps students with interships.

College Events

Life there is happening and serene at the same time. The college has many Centres for various causes and also conducts seminars and conferences for the same. There are also various cultural events and celebrations for festivals. As it is an NLU, it has students from all across India so you get to learn alot about different cultures.

Campus Life

The campus is still under construction but will be complete in about a year. The view is breathtaking as it is surrounded by hills. The library is still growing but has all required course books and also books for casual readings.

Hostel Facilities

The official hostels are under construction but will be done in a few months. Currently the university has rented nearby hotels and buildings for freshers. The seniors live in judicial academy hostels.

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible form 7th semesters, Companies like Amazon, DeShaw, SalesForce, Deloitte, etc visit here and they respectively take a good number of students. Highest package was 80 LPA by DeShaw and average package is around 13 to 15 LPA 93 % students are placed I am also planning to sit in the placements and going in the development feild

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.

the selection of HPNLU ,shimla was informed choice given that it was leading NLU and also beacause of its distinct academic atmosphere . comaparision and choice of colleges . as i was applying to the leading NLU`s such as NLSIU, NALSAR and private such as symbiosis law school . although i got admission NLU prayagraj and lower ranked NLU`S . I selected HPNLU due to the tough programe that is being offered and the prestige of NLU label , which is more recognised in legal school communities than most of the private law schools .
