Remarks

I chose this college because I’ve heard from many people even from members of my family that it was a good college and it is a good college. The teaching is good and they make sure you get the concepts well in the first two years and afterwards since we students had other projects and internships we started learning on clearing the exam but the teachers still made sure they made us understand the concepts well. Only problem is they could have let the students leisurely, it is adherent to its rules and certain rule structures are there that must be followed even if it is silly for some reasons. The admission process was easy, by the first time I went they clearly explained every process and there was no issue in that. Even though there are certain cons it is a good college, they make sure to give you sufficient training for placements and help you in every way.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It is based on Anna University curriculum, certain subjects were tough and you have to make an effort to study. Faculties are good every college has various types of faculties. It depends on who you can understand because I had difference in understanding certain faculties. But generally every faculties make sure that they teach every topic and make the students understand the concepts very well here.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are many internship opportunities from Zoho, Freshworks, etc but they offer limited internships positions so you have to well equipped to get selected. If you get selected off campus they will allow you attend the internship.

Placement Experience

4

More than 90% of the students get placed, you have to put effort for that but they also provide many good training facilities here, many big companies like Coda global, Zoho, CTS, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, etc comes here for recruitment. As far as I know the highest placement package was 8.2L but I didn’t attend placement I opted for higher studies. If you are looking for placement oriented colleges you can definitely join here.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were no fee hikes and the fee structure is feasible to many students. I left placement training in the middle to focus on exams for higher studies but the placement training is real good and very faculty in placement training is exceptional.

Campus Life

3

This is the one area it could have been better. There are a lot of rules and regulations here but you couldn’t speak or go to a next department without a valid reason they didn’t follow it always but when they did it was not good. There are lot of sports activities which you can participate but you have to find it and join it, they won’t be asking you regularly. There are also various clubs which are good sends you to various events wherever they are held if you are interested to attend it. The lowest of it was department symposium which you have once a year, the students have great ideas on how to conduct it but those ideas won’t come into existence because lots of rules and limits which honestly is not a good thing in this symposium events.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.
