Entrance Preview
I took bit mesra entrance test and scored 69%marks. The only reason for choosing this college was because i had no other options.this was the only engineering entrance exam that i appeared for.
Internships Opportunities
Reliance, cil ,bhel, hindalco were some of the companies that came and the stipend ranged from Rs.3500/- to 5500/-. A few like coastal guard and others too came but im not sure about their offers.
Placement Experience
Roughly 100 out of 300 were placed and they were offered in the range of aforementioned amount. The stipend was in the same range but many of them offered free accommodation and food at subsidised rate.
College Events
Bit day used be one mega event we looked forward to. A lot has changed over the years. Lot of sponsorships have come nowadays and they are huge now. Recently there was a concert which was huge and drew people from other states.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees came around Rs.12000/-per semester. There was a facility for economically weak students and there was 20% concession for them. Apart from the fees there were a few other overhead expenditures charged by the institute.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, here wasn't any scholarship or loan facilities my knowledge. Nowadays i hear there's plethora of loans and scholarships available to students.
Campus Life
The ratio at our time was unmatched and there were not many girls during our times but now the whole scenario has changed.the ratio has become more or less balanced and its not a big issue if the girls outnumber boys in certain streams of engineering.
Alumni/Alumna
We have our alumni meet every five years and we are in constant touch with our seniors and juniors through the social media. Its always a pleasure to be amongst our seniors,juniors and former classmates.looking forward to 2017.
