Remarks
It is a govt college which is the most important factor and therefore the fees here is very less which is the second factor of me choosing this college.I wanted to pursue Mechanical Engineering and this is the only good college for it amongst all other IP colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is decided by the university which is responsible for slow growth of the college otherwise student here are so talented that they would have easily taken college to greater heights.Syllabus is again as per university but TEACHERS HERE WILL TEACH YOU EVERYTHING RELATED TO THE SUBJECT which is a big plus point.Lots of industrial exposure specially if you are a mechanical student. Teachers are well qualified and very helpful
Placement Experience
The only ip college where placements of mechanical are equivalent to that of cse(sometimes even better). Many core companies visit here for recruitment like HONDA, NISSAN, Mahindra, TATA(campus pool). Internships are not provided by the college so you will have to look for that yourself. Highest package was around 12pa by nissan.
College Events
If you are more interested in studies than fun and enjoyment, then this place is ideal for you. Anyways, all the societies are active and work hard to develop interest in students.Different events are regularly organized like INCEPTUM, AARAMBH. Overall the college provides a good environment for engineering students
Fees and Financial Aid
No i havent availed in any scholarship but being a govt college, all the central scholarship schemes are applicable here and yes there are some additional scholarship schemes available for SC/ST students.
Campus Life
The only thing that the college can and should improve is infrastructure. There are sports facilities available but they are hardly taken care of. Library is very good and very well maintained. Labs are all in excellent condition with all the required equipments available.
