Entrance Preview

WBJEE, my rank was 3734. Frankly i had no knowledge about my college .I just wanted a mother trade other than mechanical and civil so i chose eletrical.

College Events

There are so many events organised by us, the students. The cultural festival evey year held in between february and march. Every year in november there is a tech fest organised by us. Most of the students from various departments join all these fests.

Fees and Financial Aid

No loan facility available,college is only serious issuing notices to students whoese fees are due even by one month.

Campus Life

Campus life is awesome,most of the labs are not establised till date by our college. Every year we organise a football tournament where we distrubite prizes to top 3 teams. Robotics is held for the fisrt time lastyear2014.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

At easy to way to carry degree.

Higher secondary pass with a Science background or Diploma Engineering in any recognized board that approved AICTE no required science background. For 4th B.tech you can take Direct admission through college or for 3rd-year B.tech lateral students you can take admission by sourcing any friends who appeared at that college. Application fees at first near amount 30k for 1st semester and application dates between September. No reservation benefits. No improvement....Read More
