Remarks
It is a college to uplift the sikh community by providing sikh students an opportunity to study engineering even at low ranks in entrance exams. So being a sikh i got admission gere easily. The college is just 2km away from Subhash nagar metro station and just 150m away from Swarga ashram bus stop. You will find all kinds of eateries near the college and a big mall is also within 2km of the college
Course Curriculum Overview
Whole syllabus is decided by the university and college follows that. The syllabus is little bit lagging and doesnot meet the needs of the industry at present. There are 1sessional exams and 1end term exam and lots and lots of assignments. Faculty are all Masters of PhD degree holders. Many of the teachers have studied from IITs. They are very friendly.
Placement Experience
Decent placements. If you have a good academic record then you can easily get an avg job. For high paying jobs work very hard and sit for off-campus placements. Companies do visit here but hardly hire students for high package jobs. Most of the students end up in mass recruiters. No alumni network.
College Events
Very chilled atmosphere. No 75% attendance rule here. Just sit in the canteen with friends and gossip. Lots of mass bunks. GATES is the annual fest. Other small events are regularly conducted. All societies are active and you can easily join any of them
Campus Life
Campus is small (3-4acre) with 5buildings in total. Classrooms are not very well maintained and many of the desk are broken. No AC in classrooms and it becomes really uncomfortable during summer. No sports ground. No Wifi(except in labs). Library has all the books and is a heaven for studious students. Labs are well maintained.
