Remarks

Thapar is one of the most prestigious institute of India. Always known for its superiority and delivering knowledge to thousands of students and helping them secure a better future. Studying here feels like dream come true.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was upto date and covered all the content one needs to learn in order to crack all india level exams. Industrial exposure side was bit less. All the faculties here are good and always ready to help you even after college hours.

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 1300000 per year

Placement Experience

Lot of company visit thapar every year for placement session ranging from Microsoft to Cisco to JP Morgan chase. Placement process also is quite simple.

College Events

Thapar held lots of events every year. Ranging from calling big celebreties, actors,singers and dancer at the biggest college fest of saturnalia every year. Also there is organisation of food festival every year by Thapar Food Festival society to organise workshops by different societies to make student learn a particular skill.

Campus Life

Well equipped library with lakhs of books and proper sitting arrangement. Sports facilities are also good. Lab equipment is well maintained and all in working condition. Wifi works properly,only sometimes causes problem.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
