Annual cultural fest Saturnalia- it is fest where people from different colleges gather and enjoy to fullest + a singer is invited every year for enjoyment Other fest like thapar food fest , urja mudra nights are equally enjoyable Many societies also organise many events throughout the year
Hostel Facilities
The hostel faculty is good and hostels are build very good overall infrastructure of hostel is very good and mess food is also great. The registration process for hostel is easy and is told to you on allocation day

I choosr tiet because it provided a good balance of academic social and placements Reliable faculty Good peers Well maintained campus Other colleges i applied to Nit jalandhar I got admission in vit vellore, Chandigarh university, manipal Thapar was the best
Faculty
Most faculty are well qualified. Professors are usually approachable during college hours. Many courses hae lab components with good TA. But large class size reduces personal attention. Most of the courses have practical workshops The exams are basically- Mst covering 20-30% syllabus Quiz, lab eval-20-30% syllabus Est-40-50% syllabus
Night Life
Most academic building , cafe closes by 9 pm we can order online till 11 pm Popular college spots are nirvana park, kravings , cos where students can buy stationery etc There are good eating spots insid campus
