Remarks

I had previously repeated for medical entrance exam. But I couldn't make to the rank list. So I chose B.pharm course in Crescent college of pharmaceutical sciences. The college is situated in Payangadi, kannur. This college is one of the two colleges in Kannur with b.pharm course.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.pharm is a UG course that is required to become a pharmacist. The syllabus was updated on 2017. The course duration is four years. There would be a total of 8 semesters. The college have more junior lectures than seniors. Our college doesn't provide us with industrial exposure.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

0.5

B.pharm graduated students mainly pursue for a job in community pharmacy. Industrial Pharmacy is also a great opportunity for B.pharm graduates. In India, the job vacancies and salary is lesser compared to other countries. The College doesn't provide any placement for the students.

College Events

The campus life was awesome as we always have many programs that is conducted in the college. Extra curricular activities have always been given importance in the college. Sports day, Arts day and college day have been conducted in a healthy way. The competition is also very tough for every students as there is about 12 batches totally in the college.

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

Remarks:

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

The course doesn't require any entrance exam. Eligibility is to pass plus two in science with min. of 50%. Application is through Akshaya centres. The application fee is about Rs100. Crescent college is one of the best college in Kannur that provides the course B.pharm. They also provide other pharmacy courses like D.pharm and Pharm.D.
