Remarks

IMT Brand Value is something that attracts me towards IMT Nagpur.Here in this institute peer group learning is at its peak because it is a student driven campus.Beside that lush green campus adds beauty to our campus life along with lot of extra carricular activity.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculties are very good in their respective field and our curriclam is same that of IIM AMHEDABAD and special focus is given on academics.Student with less than 5 CGPA is not allowed to sit in placement.

Class Size: 360Course Fees: INR 1210000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Currently Interning with Tutorraj as marketing and sales intern

Placement Experience

100 percent Summer internship and 85 percent final placement with median package of 7.5 lakh.For marketing placement is very good but for finance its average.

College Events

There are lots of clubs for every sub in our college.Beside that Rangamanch-The drama club,Milestone,quiz club are some of the club which keep on organising lots of event through out the year.Beside that our college also orgise Alumni meet every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Dr.Mahendra Nath merit scholarship at the end of 1 st year worth 1,50,000 to the meretorious student.

Campus Life

We have library with thousands of book and we also have an access to LRC.The internet connectivity is superb.And we have different clubs for different sports.So There is ample opportunity for growth in terms of academics and sports.if u are a part of IMT family there is noone who can hinder your growth as an individual.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

AS FOR PLACEMENT , TNP TRIES REALLY HARD TO GET STUDENT PLACED. MULTIPLE COMPANY VISIT THE CAMPUS. NAMELY INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, TCS, CAPEGEMINI, AMDOCS, HCL, TECH MAHINDRA, ETC MULTUPLE APTITUDE ASSESMENT AND CODING ASSESMENT ARE CONDUCTED BY COMPANIES. MANY STUDENT GET PLACED AT AVERAGE OF 4.5 . OFFER ARE LIKE 3LPA, 3,5LPA.4,5LPA, 7LPA, MAX 9LPA OR THIS YEAR BUT STILL IN MY OPNION STUDENT ARE NOT PUTTING ENOUGH EFFORT IN THEIR PLACEMENT DRIVES AND HAVE VERY CASUAL ATTITUDE. SO PERCENTAGE IS AROUND 40% AND I'LL NOT BLAME COLLEGE FOR THIS PERCENTAGE ATLEAST NOT TNP, CUZ FOR SOME REASON STUDENT ARE CLEARING FAILING HERE AS FOR ME I'M PLANNING FOR FURTHER STUDIES

IMT Nagpur- Thriving in a Student-Run Environment

Eligibility for this course is an undergraduate degree. Additionally one has to appear for an entrance exam like Cat, Xat or Cmat. For cat and xat a safe percentile is above 80 to get an interview call. For cmat one can target above 95 percentile. The application form is available online and one can apply either for all campuses of IMT through common application form or just IMT Nagpur. The form fee is around ?1000 to ?2000. The form is opened before cat exam and generally also re-opened before or after cat / xat results. One can expect form to reopen before CMAT exam as well. The admission process was smooth as it was online when i appeared for it. There was an essay test, a Statement of purpose and a personal interview with 2 panelists. The difficulty level can be increased for the interview. Otherwise they also conduct offline interviews now in various cities so there should not be a problem.
