Interest in Botany urged me to opt for agriculture. The college environment is serene with crop fields that could help us harvest vast knowledge. Comments like further education and job offers from various, also did their part
Course Curriculum Overview
Agriculture course is well structured covering a variety of subjects with classes on Practical know how. At times, this tends to become a burden too. Faculties are rich knowledged. The interest for further studies is from how they deal with students. Field classes will be lively. The important drawback in my view is the lesser interaction of students with farmers (only a part of a semester) depriving of experience learning
Placement Experience
The course is well known for its history of students achieving Public Service commission exams. Job offers via campus interviews are available though limited. The Centre for Students welfare arrange for classes for competitive and entrance exams apart from facilitating for interviews
College Events
A too busy curricular life with little time to take a part in extra curricular activities. However the college offers various activities through its clubs. These clubs hold annual functions and gatherings for greater exposure. Annual cultural fest and Sports meet are also held in a grand manner. One of the note worthy clubs is Social Service League where students extend to nearby villages 6 days a weel and teach the students there free of cost.
Campus Life
Most of the labs are well equipped with instruments, microscopes and wares. With advancements in recent times, they can be looked after. There are Play grounds, indoor stadium, swimming pool and gym facilities. They prove useful in our health care
