Best college for BAF

The college is good. It helped me shape my future and built a strong base for me to make a career in Finance.

The course is prescribed by University of Mumbai. It's purely into Accounting and Finance. Good to pursue a career in Finance then one should opt for this course. Best course for pursuing a master's degree in Finance as it forms a strong base. Should be pursued by a person keen on Finance.

Best for internship and final placements. There is a placement cell to provide guidance and also send the resumes.

BAF event is Entourage which is a 3 day event. Combined with BBI and BFM. It has both academic and cultural events planned. With Mr and Miss Entourage and a concluding fashion show. There are sports events too. More of an intercollegiate fest with top colleges participating in the event.

Feasible but worth the amount as there are lot of other courses offered as part of the fees. The fees are reasonable for a top college as Jai Hind is one of the top colleges in South Mumbai. The fee structure is quite clear and they offer 3 extra curricular courses as part of the fees.eg. Excel, financial modeling.

They do provide government scholarships for girl child and there is a cell for this purpose to guide those needing scholarships.

The gender ratio is very neutral. You have a mix of all diversities and religions. There are very clubs one can be a part of such as robotics, drama, sports, placement and student council. Many competitions at inter and intra college level are held during the year.

The alumni is very helpful as most of the alumni are famous people or film personalities. The senior students are very helpful and help and guide the juniors in whatever way they can and are very approachable for any queries.

You fill the admission form. Then wait for the merit list. Once the list is declared then you check if you're on the merit lists. There are 3 merit lists. Once your name appears in the merit list,you pay the fees and secure the admission. You start attending once the course begins.

Faculty is well educated with majority of them with Doctorates. Well approachable for doubt solving. Some are rude but that's an exception. Overall great faculty.some of them are visiting faculty as they are corporates so they give you insights into how the industry functions so you get practical knowledge too.
