Remarks

I had previously studied diploma in this college. After completing the two and a half year diploma in Pharmacy, I applied to this college for Bachelor of Pharmacy as a lateral entry. A lateral entry student can join the second year students of B.pharm.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus of the course was updated on 2017. Earlier the course was an yearly system where the final exams are conducted yearly. Now the semester system has been implemented where there would be 8 semesters. Theoretical as well as practical exams are conducted from the college. Industrial exposure was not given by the college. More of the faculties are junior lectures.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

0.5

After completing B.pharm, many of the students works in a pharmacy as a Pharmacist. Many of them go abroad for finding a job after having experience here in a Pharmacy Store. Our college have not taken any action for helping the student to get a placement opportunity in a company.

Extar curricular activities have always been promoted by our college. The college have conducted healthy competition like sports day. Also many events have been conducted by our college for students and also for the teachers.

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

The course doesn't require any entrance exam. Eligibility is to pass plus two in science with min. of 50%. Application is through Akshaya centres. The application fee is about Rs100. Crescent college is one of the best college in Kannur that provides the course B.pharm. They also provide other pharmacy courses like D.pharm and Pharm.D.
