Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum is good and research-driven as well. The exams are MCQ based which reduces the burden mugging up things for the sake of examination. This helps students to focus on studies other than college syllabus such as preparing for coding interviews and creating projects. The college also encourages students to create projects in each semester.
Placement Experience
Not many companies come for on-campus internships. The on-campus placement record is pretty good for ECIT ie. ECE, CSE and IT branches. Many companies allow students of ECE to sit inn placements along with CSE and IT students.
College Events
Vishwakarandak - This is an inter-department competition in which students of different departments compete against each other. DESH i. e. First Year Students are considered a single department and they compete against other departments i. e CSE, ECE, Mech, Production, Chemical, IT of all remaining three years. Melange - This is the biggest event in the collge. This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, this event got cancelled.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is a bit expensive. For students of open category, the annual fees is around 1, 80, 000 INR. But open category students can get a scholarship offered by the government with the help of income certificate and the fees gets cut down to 1, 04, 000 INR. Fees for students of other categories can by viewed in the official website of VIT.
Fees and Financial Aid
For students of Open Category, there is a government scholarship which cuts down the fees from 1, 80, 000 to 1, 04, 000 INR. The college itself guides the students how and when to apply for the scholarship. Students of categories like OBC, SC, ST also have to apply for the same scholarship but they get their fees cut down on basis on their caste whereas students of open category get their cut down on the basis of their income certificate.
Campus Life
The gender is of course low as it an engineering college (Harsh truth : In a class of 76 students, around 10 students are girls. Therefore, the ratio is around 1 : 8. For robotics, there is a well-reputed club known as The Robotics Forum (TRF). Also for other extracurricular activities, there are other clubs like Vikalp for drama, etc.

Seniors are very helpful here at VIT. They guide juniors and also give referrals.
Admission
I got admission through online CAP rounds. The admission process is quite simple. After the CAP rounds, we need to go to the college and confirm our admission and pay the full fees at once otherwise our admission may get cancelled. The admission process starts after the CAP rounds get over.
Faculty
Most of the faculty is pretty experienced other than the ones who teach computer programming. Others are well-qualified professors. College hours: 10 am to 4 pm. This includes a one hour break. The average age of the faculty might be around 35 years other than computer science teachers. the average age of CP teachers of FY may be around 23.
