Good rating among RTU affiliated colleges

College reputation is good. But college need to focus more in increasing the competitive level of the events and researches.

The course is a bit outdated as compared to the IIT, NIT curriculum. And especially when I was in college, there was no separate research labs that were working for real life problems or idea sharing. The reputation of college attracted some of the local companies in which I appeared and got selected.

Placements were ok only. As companies preferred NIT, IIT colleges only, so we only got opportunities in companies offering low packages wrt market. But today I feel there was also a lack on our end on the curiosity level to explore the opportunities outside the placements.

Pravah was one of the fest that we had. all the technical, cultural and managements things happened in those 2-3 days only. Students from different colleges were also there, only on invite basis. Some time there was some good concerts held. All the prize distribution also took place there.

I got TFWS seat for securing top rank among the enrolled students. In each course top 12 students were selected for this seat, as per the RTU guidelines. Overall I felt fees structure is ok, as compared to other engineering colleges. And also there is a separate section for admission for management quotas. I am not sure of the current fees structure.

Yes, I got a high rank compared to the students enrolled in the course, so I got a TFWS seat, which is a waiver in fees structure for top 12 students.

In computer science, ratio was good. there was all the practical labs equipped with devices required to perform experiments. Sports was also encouraged. The competition like robotics, debates were not a that level. Even if there was a event, the level was not that effective.

I did not opt for hostel. I was a day scholar. My friends were there in hostel. Seats are enough to take students. we as day scholars were allowed only to enter till the lobby area and not beyond that. As they feared external people might create nuisance.

There is a alumni network, but mostly inactive. The seniors were very helpful on the subjects or projects.

I appeared for RPET entrance exam. RPET is a state level rajasthan engineering entrance exam. As per the ranking, we were asked to fill our priorities of courses and colleges. According to top ranking state wise, we were assigned our desired choices. I got my second option as this college.

There were around 6 subjects per semesters that totals up to 12 lecturers a year. The teachers were qualified till graduation only. As I mentioned in my previous answer no stress was there on research tasks. Hence I feel there is a lack among faculty for industry level issues. But this could be easily improved, if college look forward to solve this problem through experts.
