Entrance Preview
I took both IIT JEE and AIEEE but the admission I got in this college was on the basis of AIEEE rank. My rank in AIEEE was not so satisfactory it was around 98000, I was so frustrated after getting that poor result as no college were available for such a poor rank holder.
Internships Opportunities
There are no any internship opportunity given to the students teachers are also not so cooperative regarding this.
Placement Experience
Placement here is a big dream . No any company has came to campus since my last 3 years now I am in final year not expecting regarding placement from my college especially for mechanical engg students. Rather there is a good placement opportunity for textile engg students as some of the big companies like Trident came for recruiting students and has offered a ransom money of Rs 6-8 lac/ammum. Some other branches like Electrical, ECE, have some level of placement opportunity.If I have to rank it out of 10 I will give my college 1.5.
College Events
Tarannum is the annual festival of my college this includes both cultural as well as technical events rather branch wise festivals are also organised in the college. All the festivals are only limited to the college only on students came from outside college to join us, only the students of my college take participation in the events.
Fees and Financial Aid
Ya Post Matric Scholarship scheme are available for the economically poor students, I am also availing it. As per the loan facility is also available my many friends have get benefited from it.
Campus Life
Campus life was good till today I have enjoyed a lot in the college. Gender ratio is zero for my my branch while it is highest for CSE branch other branches have also good ratio. There are no any student parties. All types of workshops are available there but the problem is that most of the equipment is so old that it does not work. Sports, competition like robotics,debates all are there in my college .I have also gone to IIT delhi from my college as my team was the 1st winner of Automobile engine mechanics competition.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumini network are good as we share our views with seniors without any hesitation. We are even allowed to go to their hostel to take any support from him regarding final year project and future aspects.Previously alumni meet was not organised in our college but from last year it is organised and we get more familiar with them through this meet, they also share their experience with us.
