Some restrictions were there as the Institute managed by Radhasoami Satsang body, dayalbag, and that was compulsory to abide by there rules, but overall experience was good, and I am proud to be the DEI Agra alumnus. Suggest new generation, to join the same.

In four yr. degree course, there were 54 papers in all to be cleared, as a part there were also extra co curricular activities for grooming as an ideal professional, in 2nd & 3rd yr sufficient nos. of industrial visits were also there, semester system was there, internal and external assessment system.

There was Training and Placement Cell in the college and an Officer was there for the purpose. Telco, HCL, RELIANCE, SIMMCO, USHA, TCS and others visited the institute for campus selection, around 60 percent were selected. Companies invited were those where alumnus serving.

The Institute is managed by a religious body called Radhasoami Satsang Sabha, that is why events organized were of religious in nature, and also the cultural activities were there of same nature, although the Institute organized many cultural events like Spic Macay.

Feasible, very less rs 150/- per month only, transparent fee structure, no additional fee, subsidized, and same type are hostel expenses rs 300/- per month only. At the time of awarding degree, some additional amount was asked to be deposited rs 850 /- only.

No, I haven't availed any scholarship, but there were merit cum means, and other scholarship for ews students, rs 3600 per year per student.

There was no co education in Engineering, but in other faculties like in arts, commerce, education, social science there were 40- 60 percent female students, in teaching staff only 10 percent were females, cultural activities were promoted in the campus, spic macay like organizations very often have their programs, students from south and northeast were around 20 percent.

Yes, Sharing, as construction is of 1950, buildings are robust, ceiling height is 15 feet, mess is operated by student itself, in campus there are other course students also in the same building, from all over India.

Alumnus were very often visited the hostel, sometimes with their families, at that time in 1991, ragging by the seniors was prevailing, but that too was in a healthy atmosphere. Seniors were very generous and cooperative and same are we with our juniors.

Low cost / quality Engineering Institute with high ethical values. Selection is on the basis of 12th standard marks cutt off and called for an entrance exam and a personal interview, then a combined merit is prepared on the basis of overall performance.

Maximum nos. around 3/4 th faculty is aluminni, rest were IIT / reputed professional. Total 4000 lectures approximately deliverd in 4 years, visiting professionals were also there for guest lectures, a few teaching staff was also from their industrial background and overseas exposure.
