Great College if you can afford it

The college is exceptionally well managed. No complaints.

Yeah it?s good all the teachers are good. I think the number of people who take up research in undergraduate years is very high in our college. The environment from others, seniors and faculty are very conducive to research if you wished to do it which is very useful especially for PLAB and usmle.

There is internship and you can leave if you want. Stipend now is 30000. Apart from that job after mbbs is pretty much the same regardless of college.

Keli for Malayalee on Onam and inter MAHE fest. They are bigger than any other colleges in the south of India and the participation is quite good but only from among all the colleges that come under Manipal university. There is in short no lack of extra curricular activities.

I believe it is 45 lacs total for mbbs now. Obviously expensive. You basically have to pay the entire 1st year course fee and hostel fee when you join. Apart from these there are no additional charges. No side entries as far as I am aware of. The whole financial aspect is as transparent as it gets.

Did not have any scholarship. No loans. However it is pretty easy to get loans from sbi if you were to need it. Also top 500 rankers used to get scholarship.

All of these were better than almost all other medical colleges. I believe this is probably one of the main reasons why it?s ranked so high at all India rank 4 right now I believe. There is no kind of discrimination based on anything. Everybody is mostly just focus on studies, research, work and extra curricular activities.

Yes. All different kinds of hostels are available. Food is healthy enough and the hostel canteen. Overall the atmosphere is pretty good. Hostel fees is on the lower side, I believe it was around 60k per annum for a single room in 2013.

There is not that much of an organised alumini network but you?ll find a lot of seniors doing usmle if you wished to pursue it.

Through MAHE all India entrance in 2013. Chose it because it?s the only college I got as my neet exam rank wasn?t that great but my MAHE rank was 1515. General category. There are no category based reservations. I believe the admission now is through neet like all other colleges.

Good. I don?t really feel like we ever expected more from any faculty but felt like we just weren?t being taught enough. Of course the main source for exam preparation will still be marrow and or dams which are available nearby but the basics will be very strong with just college.
