Sephalika's Review On Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (Evening), V V Puram Campus - [SBMJC], Bangalore

As i have pursued my B.Com Degree, i never had to give an entrance exam , but for sure my PU marks did make a difference.I had to undergo a simple personal interview as to why i chose the college and my future goals.

The curriculum is well planned by the college administration, a copy of the cirriculum is given to the students as well on the first day of the college.Even though it is an evening college, there are tests and preparatory examinations conducted for the betterment of the students. They also have well planned events to be celebrated and well executed .

We donnot have the concept of internship for B.Com Degree .If the students wish , during the semester vacation they can plan for internship and approach companies. They would get a stipend around Rs.4,000/-.

The college had many companies coming up for campus selection, as i had further education plans, i didnt go through them but i found my friends places in good companies.

Students who have pursued their PU in the same college and who have scored above 90% , are given a little fee concession.I am not sure about the amount.

The campus life was amazing. This college is known for overall development in a student. Apart from the normal course, lot of opputunities are available for the students at their will.As told above, the students are given the freedom to even organise events and lots more.

In a semister of 6 months we had one test conducted after 2 months and a preparatory exams held in the mid of 4th month. It gave us an overall experience of the final exams.They were not hectic as they were planned one paper a day.

The faculty of the college are very friendly and wish to listen to the students as to their requirement from the faculty.The faculty makes efforts to give individual attention.Every single student s doubts are clarified by the faculty.The college provides a healthy competitive environment.
