Admission process is purely based on merit. No entrance exams. last date of admission is Oct 31st. College provides good ambience, friendly atmosphere. It provides scholarships for economically weaker student. It has well qualified and committed faculties providing guidance to students in academics, research and other career aspects. College inherit rich traditions, impart discipline, empower disadvantaged and offer quality education.

the course in spite of providing academic knowledge also provides practical knowledge which supports the entrepreneur skills required for career aspects. The ratio of faculty to students is as per the norms of UGC. The faculties have their doctorates in core subjects and teaching method includes use of black board as well as smart class rooms. there are two terms (semesters) per academic year. If you prepare well wont be tough to clear the exam.

Participating in internship programs made mandatory for the students especially PG. All guidance are provided by the faculties and management. both on and off campus internships are available for the students.

UG Students from their 4th and 5th semester while PG students from 3rd semester are eligible for campus placements. Most of the popular MNCs visit campus regularly and more than 70% of students are given offer letter through campus placements, I personally prefer for a role in research sectors after getting the degree

Since PG botany is a self financing course an optimal fees of 25000 per year has to be paid by the student. Scholarship are provided to the students who were in need of financial assistance.

Events like sports day, College day, and departmental activities were conducted periodically for every academic year. Apart from general college library, department also has a library raked up with latest edition of books raked up in particular for PG students. Well structures class rooms provides quiet a good ambience . Many clubs like NCC, NSS are there in which students are encouraged to join to improve their social life

Students coming from distance places are provided with good hostel facilities at affordable price. students can opt for hostel facility at the time of admission itself. Hostel students are provided with good quality meals both veg and non veg based on their choices.
