Entrance Preview

Higher secondary. My cut off score is 197.25. I chose this college for two reasons. One of the top colleges in TamilNadu. Next is near to my home town and At affordable price.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is chosen to make you a computer science engineer(though it is old still it s good). It showed where Computer science engineer should stand different from an Information technology graduate.

Internships Opportunities

No intership was required in my college. I am writing this because the UI was flawfully designed not thinking what if there is no internship. Waste of lettters to fill 150 characters.

Placement Experience

Placement is the main reason people chose my college. Almost all top companies come here for recruitment. And each person above average will have minimum three offers.

College Events

We have a technical symposium called Interface. Which will be conducted at national level . Where competiotions, seminars will take place. People from various colleges come and attend the technical festivals. Cultural it will be inside the college only .

Fee Structure And Facilities

It s a government aided college. three slabs are there. Govt quota, seif aided, management. For govt quota it will be 15 k per year sem fees, and 20 k per year hostel fess(including food)for self aided(40 k per year).

Fees and Financial Aid

All government scholarships are available. Since its a government aided college. Loans are also available in Indian bank which is in the campus.

Campus Life

Campus life is one memorable experience. You have all the time to explore, play , have fun and grow. We have a very good gender ratio . As a team we learned so much to organize events, prepare shortfilms, and star in technical aspects. Even we have mock interiews.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network is not that strong but it exists. Seniors are driving force during placement activities. Since our placements starts by 3rd year itself , our seniors will help us in tech and interview related stuffs.

Exam Structure

Labs are very tough(not from books). Still i haven't faced the toughness like that even in my professsional carrier. Exams like Mathematics will be tough chosen by faculty themselves(ours is autonomous).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Last year Closing rank cut off in TNEA was around 1300 for B E CSE Also this is the 2nd rank S tier College. Thriving at CIT

Students are generally admitted in colleges of Tamil Nadu through TNEA counselling. Coimbatore Institute of Technology is among top 10 colleges of Tamil Nadu.
