Teaching quality and infrastructure and other facilities provided by SJIM are excellent. The faculties are highly educated and have industry experience. The college has a limited crowd, this helps the students to get personal attention and opportunities to excel in what they are best at. The college also provides good placements. The college admission process is spread over 4 batches, one batch each month. Admissions begin from the month of December and the list of students selected in each batch is put out in the same month.

SJIM has a good faculty: student ratio, the students get individual attention of the facilities. Students can approach the faculties any time with their doubts, faculties are always ready to help. SJIM follows a trimester system, with three end term exams in a year and 3 mid term exams.

Top companies like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs visit the college to provide internships. The highest stipend offered is Rs 50000 per month. The role offered is Summer intern and is for a duration of 2 months. The outcome of the internship on satisfactory performance is PPO. If the companies are satisfied with the students performance during the internship, they are given pre placement offers.

SJIM provides good placements. Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 5th semester. More than 60 top companies recruit students from SJIM. The highest package offered was Rs 10 lacs by Byju's. The average package offered is 6 lacs. The college also provides excellent placement support and training facility to help their students face interviews.

The college fee structure is quite reasonable compared to other Management institutions. The college generally hikes the fees by a small percentage every year, however it did not hike the fees this year due to current situation caused by the pandemic. The college also provides various scholarships every year to its students. It provides scholarships to students with exemplary academic performance, also provides scholarships to help students having financial constraints.

Pinnacle is an intra college management fest where the students get to and showcase their talents and prove their skills. Verve is the annual inter college fest hosted by SJIM. This fest gives the students a chance to showcase their management skills. various colleges from different parts of the country attend this fest. The college also hosts a JPL event, which is intra college sports event where all the students get to sports skills The college has various clubs: Choir, CSR, Decoration, Editorial, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, Alumni and Creative production. The college has a very good library with a good collection of books relevant to all the courses offered by it, daily business newspapers and magazines. Classrooms are very spacious equipped with projector and good sound system.
