Remarks

Faculty is good, Infrastructure is good. Hostel facility is also excellent. Superb atmosphere. The college Authority is supportive. Exam are on time. Well equipped ground for games and sports. Well maintained mess and Canteen. A bank is also inside the college. Two ATM's.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as per my Interest. Faculty student Ratio is 60:1. well qualified faculty and teaching method is also good. On time term exams and difficulty level is moderate.

Placement Experience

From sixth semester students are eligible. L&t. Byjus, etc. No. Of offers made is around 40% of the students. Highest package is 7 lakhs and minimum package is 1.8 lakhs. 40% student get placement. My plan after getting degree is to further study.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike policy is already fixed Rupees 1000 increase semester wise every year. Cost to study is moderate.

Campus Life

The annual fest of college is Named Horizon. They are usually conducted in February. A well availability of books in library. Around 90000+ journals. Amenities in classroom is also appropriate. A well equipped sports curriculum. Guitar Club.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

In wbjee minimum rank you should get to admit in cse it branches is 30000... application form are available in college site..it should be better if u do it in offline mode..in a year 2 semesters are organised one in December and one in June....more workers should be hired during admission time.....Read More
