Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is designed in such a way that high weightage is given to the practical approach of learning and problem solving ability of the student. The faculties are highly qualified industry based people who provide great learning experience to students.
Internships Opportunities
SJIM also provides internship opportunities for students and one of the highly paid internship was from Morgan Stanley and stipend was Rs.50,000 per month. The internship program enables students to have industry based exposure.
Placement Experience
The placements in our college is above average and there is a placement committee which has both students and faculties as its members to provide best facility to the students . More than 60 companies visit our campus for recruitment and the average salary package offered is Rs.6 lakhs . The highest salary offered was by Byju's for Rs.10 lakhs
Fees and Financial Aid
The course fee is Rs.8 lakhs for students from outside Karnataka and Rs.7,80,000 for students from Karnataka. The college also provides two categories of scholarship for merit based students and scholarships for students with weak financial background.
Campus Life
Life at SJIM is vibrant and fulfilled. The college provides various platforms to interact with the society and to support the society in various activities though rallies, walkathon etc. The college has highly equipped infrastructure such as computer labs, library, gym, indoor and outdoor play area.SJIM also has a wide availability of books and journals across various domains.
Interview Experience
There was a written test and a personal interview as part of the admission process. The written test had a case study and the personal interview was mainly focused on business happenings and other general topics.
