Remarks

Better for cultural activities.. And it has its own reputation..many work placement are provided.. And also encourage us to do our studies in abroad.. No dress code..Best teachers.. Probably one of the best college in chennai.

Course Curriculum Overview

Professor's are so lenient. They help us to understand the concept and also teach us till our doubts are clear without any hesitation.

Course Fees: INR 1330 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many internship program are being set up by the college itself. Several orientation programmes are conducted to give proper guidance to the students.

Placement Experience

Students are allowed for placement in 5th semester. Training for being in interview will be provided just after you join the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is economical.. Abroad colleges come here and train us for doing our further courses.

Campus Life

We can feel the vibes there in campus. Probably the canteen facility is so close to my department.

Interview Experience

There was no test or something since I applied for ug, admission process is also not that much complicated.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures. We also have inter-disciplinary courses.
