L. D. is the topmost prestigious college of Gujarat, famous for its top rankings and the best knowledge & for its very best faculties. LD college is considered a standard in the Engineering field as students secure a top ranking in education along with extracurricular activities. Students have secured high posts with high salaries in different MNC companies and have done great jobs. There are also some very best startups cultivated in the environment and within the premises of LD college of engineering. LD college has a reputation all over Gujarat to consistently generate the best students with knowledge and standard that has in turn been very productive to the college itself. It is also famous for the varied culture from which the students are withdrawn and LD is famous for its Garba events. Students of LD college have also secured good positions in varied government organizations. And as I say, LD college is not a college, its a standard of expertise in the education field.

I chose EC engineering in LD just because of the reputation it holds and also it signifies deep expertise in the teaching field. The student ratio can be seen from the official government websites, There are more than 20 faculties in each department, each holding command, and mastery over the course of teaching. I am very fond of the teaching methods because every faculty here has certain mastery over the subjects and not only teaching subjects but also over the varied informational and technical knowledge they have pursued over the period of experience. I have been much benefitted from the extra information that the faculties used to provide the external and practical industrial world. My course was into deem fame when I joined but my faculties proved it rather opposite. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to interact with them about the industrial world and happenings in the industry. It was much out of the box insight.

The internship offer can be availed from the respective branch heads or the designated faculty, TPO cell of LD college also does hold the significance to offer internships to varied students based on their interests. Also as I told earlier, faculties here have good industrial knowledge and good network in the companies. I personally have availed of some good company internships and developed good relations from the recommendation of my faculties. Working with them has proven good and helpful to me in the career of Electronics and also into my personal knowledge and led me to the expertise level of understanding the technical terms and professional phenomenons. Having the guidance of the faculty and getting a recommendation in the industry gives a boot-start to the technical knowledge to any student, One must redeem the opportunities.

Students become eligible for placement in the final year - that is from the 7th semester. TPO Cell of L. D. college audits the student with the database and ensures that those who opt for it and are eligible according to the company requirements, they ensure best to get them the job. But the student can go for internships with the permission of the respective HoD - Head of Departments after they have completed the official studies or can go for weekend internships into their companies if they have personal influence. OR can ask the faculties to recommend some internship opportunities to get practical knowledge and professional help. The highest package offered during my batch was 12 LPA, also the average package includes a range from 2.4LPA to 6.5LPA. My plans are to work in the industrial sector of Electronics.

It's a Government college, that is the fees structure varies around 2500 rupees INR per year including the tuition fees, but it has several other structures of hostel fees and canteen and other logistics fees that you can find out from the official website of LD College or from any statutory board of admission. I personally have not received any scholarship or assistance but all the government scholarship and assistance are applicable here too. While the TP Cell, Training & Placement cell of L D college is much networked and has good relations with the MNC companies, such that all most all major companies visit LD first for their hiring program before going to any other college.

The campus of LD college is very huge that includes cricket ground and festival ground, civil lawn, and Library along with a canteen and huge hostel - accompanying thousands of students who stay there during their studies. LD is famous for its Garba festival that is the cultural dance festival of Gujarat. But also there are some great tech fests, arranged here and managed by the very own students of LD college who also have much good communication and management skills. Around 5000 students from all over the Gujarat visit L. D. college for this TECH fest, the one famous is Lakshya while there was also one another national tech fest arranged namely ISTE which ought to be the best, and also a physics-related fest Tarang, which attracts the physics enthusiasts.

I personally haven't stayed in a hostel, but I can share other reviews which are sensationally good and economically affordable.
