I am more towards the environment and society. And I want to be an environmentalist. So, being in this department will help me achieve what I want to be. The professors are very much helpful and they are supportive in all aspects. The department of is located near the ridge. However, the major factor is that I want to do something for nature and this could be done only by getting into this course
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus gets updated from time to time. And yes we go to nature trails for better exposure to the wildlife. We have been to Kamal Nehru Ridge and biodiversity parks. There are outstanding faculties in the department boosting you for various activities. All the faculties are well with the subject. And always ready to solve your queries.

Placement Experience
Actually, it depends from person to person. As there are various recruiters like ONGC, Moefcc, CPCB, NIDM etc. The recruitment is done through an interview. So, one must have proper knowledge about the field and the subject.the opportunities are good if you have the caliber to go for it.
College Events
The college holds many seminars on various Environment related topics and issues. It gives chances to students to expose their views on the topic. We have a documentary and a working model competition. All these activities just make you a thoughtful person.
Campus Life
Since, it's a department. So, there are no such sports facilities within the department. However, you can join the Delhi University sports complex and the gym as well. There is a science library for the students. You can access it. The labs have all the necessary equipments. The Auditorium and the classes are fully air-conditioned. The infrastructure is very good.
