Remarks
I chose this college due to the positive reviews received from my friends. I was told that the faculty is exceptional and stress is given on overall student development. Moreover, many societies in this college are very active throughout the year. Then I visited the college and found the infrastructure pleasing with lush green lawns and a big ground for various sports.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course syllabus is updated to current standards. The department faculty is excellent and possess a helping nature. They have through understanding of the topic they teach and encourage students to ask questions.
Placement Experience
Not many companies visit our college, therefore placements are done through Central Placements Department, DU. Around 70% of students are placed in a starting position at a tech firm but most of students prefer to study further and get a Masters degree.
College Events
Our college organises an annual fest which includes different stalls, rides, and a star-night. Other department and society fests also happen around the month of February which includes Roister - annual sports & team-building event hosted by the BBE department. StreetStruck- The nukkad natak fest organised by Rangmanch, The dramatics society is also a major highlight of our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarship schemes available for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and Minority students provided by Delhi Government.
Campus Life
Our college has good sports facilities and has a large ground that caters many sports including Volleyball, Football, Cricket. Our college library has thousands of books including books prescribed in the syllabus and also outside the syllabus for that extra knowledge. College has Wi-Fi facility but it hardly works. The computer labs are well equipped with the necessary workstations and work well. There are 2 canteens in-campus, 1 Juice Shop which provides fresh fruit juice and one small shop which provides eatables.
