This is one of the prestigious and one of the oldest universities in Odisha. The fact that it is a renowned university, the course that I opted for is significantly one of the best integrated course which helps you build your career in IT or electronics field.

The course is an absolute amalgamation of both electronics and Information Technology. The syllabus is quite similar to any professional course of engineering like CSE or EEE. The syllabus is pretty much updated and interesting. The syllabus is designed in such a way that a student gets enough knowledge to acquire the IT skills and be ready to face the corporate world.

Yes, in the second year of my college I interned for Carve Startup Labs as a Marketing Strategist. I got this internship after our college conducted a Startup Odisha workshop. I got keen about Startups and eventually had good networks and grabbed this internship opportunity.

Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte and other big MNCs come to recruit students every year. With an average placement record of 90% every year the college is helping students tremendously to achieve their goals in other domains as well.

It is one of the best experiences of my life, all the cultural events that has been hosted by our college were massive and very successful. With a beautiful ambience I have had participated in the annual functions or fests of my college. There are separate hostel annual fests that is supposedly conducted after the main cultural and tech fests of the college gets conducted.

Ravenshaw University is called the Red Empire and relevantly it is called because all the buildings and departments are red in color. It's beautiful how it is situated in the center of College Square. The campus is huge and the main attraction of the college campus is the entrance where the front lawn is situation. It is the best place in the whole university. The campus has got a gym with proper trainers, and a massive ground for sports and other activities. The college provides us with free wi-fi 24*7. The library is one of the gigantic libraries known as kanika library with all kind of books and facilities you want.

Mahanadi hostel is one the best hostel in the college premises. Starting from good mess food to gym facilities and a great hostel canteen, you get it all. The hostel is huge accommodating 600 girls. I can vouch for the good food and great ambience of this hostel.
