Remarks
The location was good, most IPU colleges are located in faraway places, and since I was staying at home in Indirapuram, I wanted a college on a direct metro route with the least traveling time. The things I liked about this college were, timings, 8:00 am in the morning to 2:30 pm in the evening. This helped me reach home by 4:00 pm and I could spend time on other activities too.I opted for EEE as I was not sure about which field to go into after graduation(IT or Core Govt). So, I chose EEE as it had sufficient placements in MNCs and also gave me exposure to Core Electrical subject.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course syllabus had been updated in our year itself, so we were introduced to various new subjects and topics. A lot of time the materials to study were also not available and we had to search for it on our own and this made us self reliant.Industrial exposure: We were provided with sufficient training avenues, in Summer vacations too. We also attended seminars on new technologies. The faculty are really helpful and cordial. No ego issues and will even help you with competitive exams. The HOD of EEE Deptt, Dr. Meena Tushir and Mr. Yogender Arya are great faculties. They have great experience in teaching field and have many papers published in their names.ECE Deptt also has many great faculties, one of them being Mr. Tejinder Arora is one who had helped us a lot in our times.
Placement Experience
Company Visited: Microsoft, Accenture, Infosys, ZS Associates, Nagarro, etc.Profiles and Placement: Profiles were mostly Software Engineers and number of students were 35/70 students in our batchPlacement process: It is satisfactory as all students are given good opportunities to interact with the Company management in Pre placement talks. But, the Placement cell hasn't been able to bring in Core companies for ECE or EEE branch.
College Events
There were many fests held in college, an official college fest, a technical fest and another fest which was quite a hit among students held by the Eco Club, Prakriti. They were not as big as GGSIPU fest, Anugoonj, but big enough to attract students from other colleges. The fests would attract participants from DU colleges, other IPU colleges and IITS, DTU and NSIT too.
Campus Life
The infrastructure was also satisfactory, with sufficient sports facilities, such as badminton court and annual sports meet.Wi-Fi in our times was not so great, but with Jio Connections, no one actually needed the Wi-Fi much.Library's size is sufficient for the college as it's rarely crowded or there's never any difficulty in finding space to study. The labs were being renovated while we were there, and new equipments were acquired time and again. So, overall the infrastructure was sufficient.
