Remarks
Under COMEDK nost of the colleges are affiliated to V.T.U and top 5 colleges are really good. B.I.T, Bangalore is reputed college in Bangalore and has very good placement. Moreover as an engineer the Labs are much more important than theory so the Labs of my college are also up to date which attracts many students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very good. Obviously things can be improved such as the curriculum can be updated with respect to the modern technology and many more CS subjects can be included as an elective for non CS branches. Lab equipments and the lab experiments can also be improved and modernized.
Internships Opportunities
I had an internship opportunity in my current company only in which I was placed from college placement process which is a Big Four company. Overall process was simple because the HR themselves contacted us after we are placed.Stipend and salary are something I can't discuss but you can look at it in Glassdoor
Placement Experience
Placement are good. Can be better. Lot of core companies visited but again the number can be increased for the core companies. Many IT and software has visited and we all had a very good chance of getting placed. Almost 100% placement is there in the college for CS, IS, EC, EEE, TC branches and other branches it is somewhat low which is understandable as bangalore is an IT hub.Alumni network is okay okay, we didn't had any referrals for us but I am trying to keep in touch with my seniors and juniors.Start up and entrepreneurship wise the college has not really flourished but I think these things take time to develop and you should have worked in corporate first then you can explore these start ups better.
College Events
Not much into cultural stuff but we have a Technical club which holds its election to pick its members. It was the most fun activity I have done in college. It was highly respected in the college and we conducted many technical workshop, tech talks etc.
Campus Life
Not very good to be honest in terms of sports infrastructure as we had very limited space as the college is situated in the middle of Bangalore. But Lab facilities are good with everyone getting a chance to perform and learn.
