In our college the course i am doing was BBA and for that no placements are there only 1 to 2 companies come and rarely 2 to 3 students are selected but in MBA there was good placementt opportunity many companies come to appoint the students in job.

My college was in odisha so the odia culture mainly follows and almost every odia festivals are holds by oure college. And for holi and diwali college brings colours and crackers fore us. And faculties come and celebrate with us.

No i doesnot get any type of loan and any scolorship type of things but in or college who was ST and SC he/she get the scolorship of rs 10000 from the navin patniac sir who was the cheif ministere of odisha but for general students none of these.

My college infrastructure is good enough and many sports activities held like kabadi,cricket,batminton,running,shotput etc.24 hours electricity,water and wifi was available.Approximately 100 students can sit in the libraryand equipment in lab are updated daily.

Hostel Facilities

yes i live in hostel which was the second floor of my college,in every room atleast 6-8 student can live and there a 5 rooms and the hostel charge was 1000 monthly and the hostel was very neat and clean.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . Courses and instructors are good, but don't expect a rocking campus life here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this college without planning as I couldn't get a desired seat in IIT. But I think it was for good. The course is a wonderful primer on the path of becoming a scientist. Compared to other colleges, IISER Berhampur has a quite good faculty: student ratio. But most of them are pretty good as people and as teachers. We manage to conduct all classes without fail. But I'd like to see an increase in the number so that the research area can be broadened. The faculty here have all completed their Ph.D. and postdoc and all have some good prior experience in research and teaching. I like most of the instructors that have taught me except for a few one or two. The exam schedule is given right with the calendar release of each semester before the semester starts. Sometimes there might be changes in the schedule but we are informed around 2-3 weeks earlier in that case. Exams are not hard to pass if you attend classes and study sincerely. Questions are not asked beyond the concepts being taught.

Placement Experience:

After the summer internship. The college started giving campus placement training and during the month of September, students got placement already. Companies like TATA AIG, Collegedunia, Federal Bank, Delloite, ADP, TCI, SIS, HDFC AMC. IDFC BANK. Practo, ADVARISK, AXIS BANK. Property pistol came and took a maximum of students. The highest package was offered by international companies like property pistol with 22 lac CTC and average being 5lacs. Mostly the profile was on sales and marketing. only a few fintech companies could recruit students. Till now around 96% of students are placed in different domains and already started working. I am fortunate enough to get placed in the FEDERAL bank with 10lac CTC and as a fresher joining such a big company will be extremely grateful to the college and its placement team. They personally look after students drawback by the feedback they get from the recruitment teams and suggest where to improve and give a number of opportunities to seat for the company.
