Remarks

At that time it was the best university available in my hometown. Also i could not make it to iits or any other regional engineering colleges as there were few information available for the preparation of entrance exams

Course Curriculum Overview

The college was located in one of the remote district of bihar. Back then very limited students had access to educational facilities. Also the syllabus was not revised frequently as govt. had to deal with so many challenges. However , the faculities were very hard working, dedicated and qualified .As it was a normal b.sc maths course we were not exposed to any industrial training.Das gupta was one of the best faculties I remember.

campus life was somewhat good, we had all the basic amenities that were required for a student to finish his education. There were cultural festivals on independence and republic day. It was considered as big day and a large crowd used to gather around.

There were no facilities for sports back then.However library was good but lab had very little equipment.There were no wifi at all. The librarian was good and cooperative. I f we talk about sports there were not too much focus on physical activities.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this collage are not as good as it should have to be. Students gets as the average packlagge of around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Branches like cse and ai also didnot get placements as it should have to be.Students depends on government vaccancies and offline placements like rozgar mela etc to got job. government should have to focus on these.

College placement are not so good but it provide placement who are capable or want to place in company.Campus selection more offer to the computer science and Electrical and electronic students but mechanical and civil also placed in reputed companies

Placement Experience:

The placement is not so good but if you work hard about study then you will be selected for campus placement. Many companies visit here. 40 percentage students approx get placement. I have to clear competitive exams after it.

From last year students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like utkarsh small finance bank , Wipro visit our campus. In my batch , 20 student got placed. The average package offered was 15K per month and highest package offered was 25K per month. About 20% student had got placed. My plan is to get into reputed instution like iim, fms for MBA.

Remarks:

Positive:- Very Good college and working very hard to become one of best college of Bihar. Negative:- Very few faculty of civil engineering in our College, the lab facility for 3rd and 4th year student is not available at all.
