Jai Hind has the best infrastructure in South Bombay along with one of the best teaching faculty. It is autonomous which means they have the authority to set the syllabus with up to date studies. Main reason for me was because the crowd in Jai Hind is the best.
Course Curriculum Overview
As I mentioned, my college is autonomous which is why my syllabus is really up to date with the changing world and is interesting to study. My department in Jai Hind gave us weekly seminars by industry experts for gaining practical insights. All my professors are well qualified and amazing professionals. My favourite is Mr. Prateek Kumar.
Internships Opportunities
I interned with The Photo Diary as a social media manager. My stipend was 10,000. Getting the internship was very easy, we have a group where the college officials post messages regarding internship opportunities.
Placement Experience
There is an E-cell which is the entrepreneurial cell which hosts couple of events annually for budding entrepreneurs and supports them with their ventures. Placement Cell at Jai Hind is one of the best in Mumbai with large companies coming for placements.
College Events
One of the best thing about Jai Hind is it's crowd. No matter which department you're from, you're a part of the Jai Hind family. There are college festivals every other week with fun stalls and games. You can participate for any department as you like. There's different unions for performing arts, literary arts, etc. Seminars hosted by experts in the industry every week.
Campus Life
Jai Hind has a building with central air conditioning which is something really important in the humid Mumbai climate.It has state of the art classrooms which is equipped with projectors.The library at Jai hind is huge and also provides a website from where one can download the E-books.Jai Hind has free WiFi sponsored by JioFiber.Sports facilities are also there including a gym.There is also an auditorium for performances and events.
