Remarks

I wanted to do my graduation in a regular college. I got admission to St.Teresa's through community quota, then there was no choice ever better than STC in Kochi. The perks are its an Autonomous college, so exams are on time and the curriculum is more real world based learning.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum for bcom course is structured with 35 papers -Core, Complementary, optional and a open course. B.com with specialization in Finance and Taxation is taught with strong theory base and practical industry interactions through interships. Faculty is also really good, teachers in our department are very friendly and chill.

Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Placement Experience

St.Teresa's college has got aluminis from diverse sectors, India Cinema, Politics, and from Civil servants too. The College Union Chairperson was from our batch. Placements are good in the college. Top recruiters like Tcs, Wipro, Deloitte and Cognizant visits the campus in every academic year for placements.

College Events

Campus life starts from the Platinum jubilee Auditorium, the main auditorium in the college where the teresian vibe sounds the best. There is no campus as such in stc, only buildings are there that is the only thing you will be missing in stc. When it comes to events and celebrations, stc energy hangs on. Arts club inaugration and Teresian week marks the biggest events held in the college.

Placement Experience:

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

Placement Experience:

Prof Rajesh Menon of the mechanical department is a gold medalist from IIT MADRAS.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

St teresas college Ernakulam, a good atmosphere and a good social environment

Anyone who have completed 12th grade and has a aggreagate of 60% in cbse board are eligible for this course. After the cbse results are published, the admission form will be available at the college website. The fee for the admission form is below 500. The applicant should download the form and fill the necessary details and submit it online. After submission, if you are selected the management will contact you further. Then you have an interview where the management and the head of the department will ask you certain questions which are very easy to answer.
