Remarks
The college is affiliated to UNIVERSITY OF DELHI which is one of the pristigious university. Since admissions occur on basis of merit, students have to see in which college they are meeting the criteria for admission and then apply in it if they wish to. I opted this course because i want to appear for Civil service exam.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus of all the DU college is as per the guidelines of University of Delhi. The course is revised on timely basis as per requirement. During my admission, the course was newly revised. All the faculty of the college as very helpful. They are always ready to help in any form they could. Especially from department of history, professor Dinesh chandra varshney. He is man of values.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, i have done internship with responsenet which is a csr implementing agency. I got rs. 5000 as the stipend for 1 month.I have also done an unpaid research internship with Kutumb Aspirations, which is a social company.
Placement Experience
Yes, to some extent placement is given. Last year, LIC visited the college for placement. There is a placement cell in the college but yes is not successful in bringing a good placement opportunities for the students.
College Events
Various cultural events take place in college on regular basis. Freshers to fest all the events are very lively. Some singers and performers are called to have an enjoyable time. Various debate competitions, speech, poster making competions takes place at a regular interval. Seminars are also conducted at timely basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
Various scholorship schemes by government of india are sanctioned by the college like National scholorship portal. They dont have their own scholorship schemes but if a student applies to any scholorship scheme which need to be sanctified by college, they sanction it.
Campus Life
Sports room is there in my college which is equipped with tools for cricket, football, volleyball, and many other sports along with their respective ground. There is a canteen beside the football ground which is very spacious and quality of food served is good too and at cheap price. College provides the wifi facility. Library is a big, spacious ac room with lots of book of course plus the extra books. One can issue 4 book at a time for duration of 14 days. Labs are also present.
