Remarks
Because it is nearby my home. And mechanical stream in this college is good. Plus there is also an advantage of very less fee with nice culture of sports and music. The culture of sports in my college is supreme. Being a sportsman myself i have enjoyed a lot these past 3 years.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is updated pretty recently, from 2018. Industrial exposure we get basically via the summer and winter trainings. And every year there is one industrial trip from the department to local industry. Pretty decent. Some of the good faculties are Plabon Kakoti Sir, Ranjit Dutta Sir, Sudip Kumar Deb Sir and Manjuri Hazarika Goswami mam.

Placement Experience
PSUs visit every year with package ranging from 8 lakhs per anum to 16 lakhs per anum for top 5/ top 10 students of each branch. IT companies like IBM, Capgemeni etc visit every year.Also Ashoke leyland came in 2018 and 2017 and previously as well
College Events
Like i said the cultural and sports and music, dance, festival is one of a kind. I can debate for it being the 2nd best after IIT Guwahati in this department. And technical events is really increasing everyday. And there are clubs like SAE affiliated Automobile club which is very active and participated in national level SAE Efficycle 2019 and 2020. And performed well as well. Apart from that coding club, Entrepreneur development cell, sovic are one of the best clubs here with events every session. And everyone knows about Pyrokinesis i dont have to say anything about that!!!
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven't availed anything but there is scholarship for economically weak students and its good enough.
Campus Life
Sports facilities is pretty decent with 4 football field all of them are used for cricket as well. One basketball court which is improving every year. The sports culture in AEC is one of a kind. Its heaven for sports lovers. Library is pretty decent. Wifi in campus doesn't work at present because jio fiber is installed at this moment, but hostel wifi is excellent. Hostel renovation has been done recently and is pretty decent. Labs and okay category.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure was not very good when i joined but now it is renovated completely and the hostels are quite good and has high speed wifi, gym, common room for where there is table tennis board and the mess is good as well.
