Remarks

It was my dream to study in a women's college. There are more opportunities at undergraduate level in St. Teresa's college. My college has the best department for sociology in kerala. Also, As a sociology student I get to know about the structure of society and all.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was not up to the mark. The syllabus need to be updated. Some faculty were nice and some of them were not. Linda ma'am from sociology was an awesome faculty. The college provided many field trips to understand the syllabus. That was really helpful.

Class Size: 68Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience

There were no placement for sociology students. But sociology students can participate in placement. But in some departments they are offering many placements. There is placement cell in our department. So students can contact them.

College Events

Campus life is great. College has many clubs and cells so student can showcase their talent to the fullest. Each department organises many activities. There will be atleast 2 seminars will occur in our college per day. Programmes like teresian week is awesome.

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.

St teresas college Ernakulam, a good atmosphere and a good social environment

Anyone who have completed 12th grade and has a aggreagate of 60% in cbse board are eligible for this course. After the cbse results are published, the admission form will be available at the college website. The fee for the admission form is below 500. The applicant should download the form and fill the necessary details and submit it online. After submission, if you are selected the management will contact you further.
