I choose Jamia Hamdard University, because its in Delhi and I live in Delhi NCR, so it was near. Jamia Hamdard is one of the old University with a good history. It's NAAC A Grade University. It provides Computer Science in Engineering. It has a good environment and infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course of Jamia Hamdard Engineering department is updated recently, according to the needs. From 2020, Jamia Hamdard has included B. Tech in Artificial Intelligence as well. Industrial Exposure is Provided, but no internship is provided by the college. The Computer Labs is also updated with new computer systems and new Linux Operating system is installed. We have separate labs for electronics engineering and research work as well. Faculty of computer science department includes some of the teachers with high experience and most of them have done PhD.
Placement Experience
Jamia Hamdard have a separate placement cell for the students of engineering department. Many companies have visited our campus from last few years such as TCS, Wipro, and even some of the startups companies. There are mostly mass recruitments companies that visits the campus. Students even get jobs by applying off-campus. Some even start their own startup as we have an entrepreneur cell in the MBA Department of the college.
College Events
Jamia Hamdard have good engagement in technical, medical, and cultural events as well. Some of the events are conducted by the department wise and some are conducted by the University. Events also include fests, which includes all type of competitions and talent shows and stage performances. We have a separate society for cultural activities that take part in street plays, acting, theatre and singing. Technical events are conducted by technical society like IEEE society of jamia Hamdard. Some of the events are international conferences, which invites foreign speakers as well.
Campus Life
Jamia Hamdard University has a good infrastructure that includes sports complex, canteens, mess, parks, etc. Sports complex includes separate grounds for Cricket, football and also includes basketball court and badminton court. Indoor games includes table tennis, carrom, chess and pool. Jamia Hamdard provides free wifi to its students. Jamia Hamdard University have library with separate reading hall provided for students for exam time. Have computer labs, electronic and electrical labs, research labs etc.
