Remarks

Crescent Institute always had a good reputation, when it was under Anna university, and it continued even after they made it a deemed university. The college is famous for computer science and architecture courses, and offers good placement opportunities

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum could have been better, as some subjects were outdated, and few trending subjects could have been introduced according to industry demand. Industrial visits were few, could increase the number.

Placement Experience

Plenty of companies visited from the IT industry, with a mix of big companies as well as some startups. Apart from IT, we had BPOs and Marketing companies as well. All the companies offered a good enough package for the students to kick-start their careers

College Events

All cultures are good, with a lot of participation. Intra department culturals especially is fun, and gives us good exposure. The chief guests invited also match the event taking place. All festivals are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm, colorful dresses and fun events and games

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

I applied for SRM institute of science and technology and vellore institute of technology. I chose Crescent over all of them because the fee structure was a bit high. I was offered Btech Cse course in SRM KTR and VIT AP. To get admission in the college I am currently studying in, you have to write CIEAT exam. Overall experience in cresent school of law

I've visited the campus , it was greenly and peaceful ! And then fee structure was manageable and there is no extra charges unwanted payments apart from the tution fee !
