Remarks

I opted for this college because it's an Autonomous Institution. And also the infrastructure of the college was good. I had recommendations from senior to join. And also I heard that the teachers were very friendly. They're many branches. And also there are many post graduation courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is not updated in recent times. They follow older syllabus. They conduct some industrial visit but it will not be very useful. Faculties are good only for their subject and marks. Some teacher will motivate for doing paper presentation and project works.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 520000 per year

Placement Experience

There will be many company visiting our college for placement. Placement process will be first based on CGPA and then about the project and other stuffs

College Events

They do conduct extracurricular activities but personally I haven't participated. They give opportunity to everyone and they conduct many events in the campus. Some cultural programs will be even conducted for 2-3 days continuously.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

I got seat at srm chennai but it was too long for me and it couldnt manage the travel because i should catch the bus at morning 6 am and i will return to home around 5 50pm. So nearly 12 hours. So rejected it and choose rec chennai because it is near to my location. I will catch the bus at 6 55 am and i will come to home at 4 15 pm. I wasnt applied to other clg so there is no rejection.Simple admission process just show ur orginal 12th certificate and cutoff marks.If your abive 80% cutoff u can pay minimum donation if doesnt enough for the course which u applied. Counselling is the better way to avoid donations and cutoffs may change for the caste....Read More
