Nishtha's Review On Kamala Nehru College - [KNC], New Delhi

I chose Kamala Nehru College because it's one of the top performing Colleges in South campus and testimony of my seniors and family members reassured me of the quality of faculty and crowd. The study schedule is thorough. Tutorials are compulsory and classes sometimes happen till late. The faculty is huge to accommodate the batch and is also highly qualified and commited to teaching. The college has a diverse crowd from all across the country and foreign students as well. The extra curricular clubs and societies of the college are very active members os Delhi's vibrant circuit.

The curriculum is the standard Delhi University syllabus. Works well known of classical as well as contemporary scholars and philosophers is included in the syllabus. The academic scene is very competitive as the average GPA of every course is appreciably high. Faculty is highly qualified, published and specialised in their area of study.

I opted for internships externally only

The placements more actively happen for internships as most students either appear for upsc or sit for entrances for masters. The selection rate for eminent universities from KNC is notable high.

The college has an annual cultural festival which is the biggest event with a footfall running in thousands and celebrity performers. Besides there's also the annual diwali mela. The cultural socities and departments have their own fests too which attract a lot of crowd.

College Scholarships are available to meritorious students after their completion of one year. There is a short process for that and students are guided by the administration.

The campus is not very huge and pretty quaint and calm. In the morning is lit up by sports club and dramatics club' activities. The college is surrounded by the heritage rich aura of Hauz khas area and cool cafes. The library is a three storey wonder, centrally located and filled with thousands of books, magazines, journals and equipped with computers.
