Remarks

The university had good reviews. The campus seemed good. The university has good infrastructure. The university follows strict culture. The campus placements are fine too. So I preferred joining this university.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum has the same eight semesters and labs. The faculty is good and experienced. The students are trained with the essential skills and through workshops and industrial visits practical knowledge is promoted.

Placement Experience

The students are trained with all the required skills and knowledge, therefore they could get the job of their desire. The companies like cognizant, EASI have hired students in the campus placements.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD

Admission:

I got 1150 out of 1200 in my 12th grade. 199 out of my cut off mark 200 for merit.Application for Engineering and Medical Counseling. Selected in both. But I prefer M.B.B.S than aeronautical engineering. I went to counseling in Chennai and then chose Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu.

Before admitting in Vel Tech, I've applied in Quaid E Millath, Queen Mary's College, Nandanam Arts college, Presidency college.I chose Veltech over these because It helps me financially and academically.Even though i had less marks Veltech admitted me. Yes I did get a rejection from other colleges due to my less performance in 12th Standard. It happened because of my medical issues.
