Overall, I had a fun life having spent my precious career years. People I know also must have had fun and there is nothing bad about the college but rather I would say it is one of the best private engineering college in entire West Bengal.

I gave WBJEE and AIEEE My wbjee rank was 25000 and aieee state rank was in 4000. The reason i chose Narula Institute is because of its reputation in terms of private good engineering colleges. Also i got suggestions from brothers and some relatives about this college. Finally i decided to go with this college.

The course curriculum is however decided by the West Bengal University of technology(MAKAUT now) and i would say that the course is little bit outdated but however comprises of all important things in well mannered so as to compete with the technological world. Research based opportunities are always there at any instant especially in the last year of engineering.

Internship opportunities are there within the organisation along with android technology. However if one wishes to pursue internship on his own,college does allow that. There is no such stipend if the college sets up any internship for us.

Only 3-4 major companies often visit the college campus.However the number of people being recruited is less as compared to other colleges. But however the figures will soon increase with advancement in the management efforts in getting specialised training sessions for job interview purposes. Many small based start up companies do visit and conduct campus drive. Companies such as TCS,Tech Mahindra,ITC Infotech,Simplex,IGate,offering a package near about 3.25(approx).

Cultural events are held on regular basis and it makes college a fun life with events like that of Fest, Fresher's party, Teacher day's celebration and many more. The two days fests are a real hit with bands coming to perform and the entertainment that we get from DJ. Along with it comes the technical competitions held of many different aspects with prizes. Sports Week is celebrated on a huge scale.

It is feasible but however the college charges a little extra compared to other colleges. Admission fee is of 40000 and per semester charges is approximately 40000. So a total of 3,80,000 well spent on engineering. However, there is scholarship programs for some and some fee concession for religious minorities.

Religious minorities do get compensation amount as a fee deduction system and along with it comes the tuition fee waiver scholarship for selected students. Loan availability is no such big problem for this college. One can easily avail loan for education.

Gender ratio is absolutely perfect workshops are held on a regular basis and no discrimination is based on gender, ethnicity, race or religion in any manner It is a friendly environment for all and people actually have fun with their friends circle overall, a good 4 years to be spent in their life.

Hostel facility is overall good but needs improvement in the fooding. Sharing is casual and it is overall friendly and a fun place to spend the precious 4 years of life. But the food needs to be improved. The average rental is 3500 including food and electricity.

Senior students are always helpful in sharing details about all the actions needed. Alumni visit is also held once or twice in a year with warm welcome from the students. College seniors help a lot regarding placement opportunities and its preparation and so does alumni network. Alumni help us whenever they visit college with their job experience and things needed to be done in future.

Semester exam is based on very strict basis and there is no scope of cheating as such. Practical exams are held according to the practical classes held throughout the semester and overall assessment is done based on the performances.Attendance is mandatory and important for lab classes as one gets to know the real skills in labs only.

Some teachers are exceptionally brilliant and well groomed to make us understand the topics whereas some are moderate. It all depends the luck that what kind of faculty we would get in our class.However,the faculties are always cheerful and helpful in any sorts of matter and subject related queries and doubts.
